Gossip and divisive language have transformed us into a divisive culture - felt within our families, friendships, social circles, workplace, churches, politics, schools and society as a whole. Pope Francis refers to gossip as "a plague worse than Covid19." Indeed it is, and many individuals are looking for peace within this conflict. WordEffect’s services, products and campaigns can help combat the current culture of destructive language while inspiring the positive transformation of our speech habits.
We believe that, just as negative language has led to the many divides and conflicts among us, positive language and kindness can lead to our healing and unification.
